While thinking about what direction we wanted to take the branding of the company, we decided on using the words "playful, colorful, and community" as our starting point. We also used illustrations by Sebastian Curi (with some tweaks) that we felt added to the brand. As part of our identity, we designed a logo, packaging, t-shirts, business cards, stickers, a coloring book, a food truck, posters, and a shopping bag. After visiting the factory and speaking with some of the workers, we believe our identity captures the values of El Rosal while also appealing to a wide range of consumers. <img width="5288" I wanted to create a parody of Trump and the way he speaks, particularly how he interrupts people and makes false claims. Therefore, I animated this video of Trump interrupting himself as he gives a speech. I wanted the animation to focus on his lips because of how infamous and distinct they are. Katherine McCoy, “Zombie Modernism” by Jeffrey Keedy, “Modernism” by Massimo Vignelli, and “Stop Sitting Around and Start Reading” by Paul Stiff. All of them were provided by my typography teacher and the assignment was to create a publication of our choice that showcased each essay. Together, we interviewed people outside the Rhode Island Superior Courthouse to understand the perspectives of people who had to be there for various reasons. These included people who were facing charges, courthouse officials, and lawyers.
