El Rosal Brand Identity

For our Identity and Branding class project at Barcelona School of Design and Engineering (ELISAVA), my friend Hannah Barnes and I created a mock brand identity for a Spanish cookie company called "El Rosal." While thinking about what direction we wanted to take the branding of the company, we decided on using the words "playful, colorful, and community" as our starting point. We also used illustrations by Sebastian Curi (with some tweaks) that we felt added to the brand. As part of our identity, we designed a logo, packaging, t-shirts, business cards, stickers, a coloring book, a food truck, posters, and a shopping bag. After visiting the factory and speaking with some of the workers, we believe our identity captures the values of El Rosal while also appealing to a wide range of consumers.
